in-home consult 2 hours
IVD is proud to provide in-person design services to clients in Toronto and the surrounding GTA. Our two-hour in-home consultation is designed to uncover your style, needs, and goals. We’ll walk through your space, discuss your budget and project scope, and provide expert guidance on layout, finishes, and design direction. We ask that you prepare a list of design questions in advance. You’ll leave with personalized advice, answers to your questions, and a clearer vision—whether you’re moving forward on your own or continuing the journey with IVD.
Perfect for: anyone stuck on what to do with their space, craving a fresh perspective, or just wanting a design-savvy buddy to walk through and toss around ideas.

what clients ask:
-
Yes, we offer design guidance on architectural elements (think wall changes, built-ins and finishes), but structural planning and permits are outside the scope—if needed, we’ll let you know when it’s time to involve a contractor or architect.
-
Abolutely. We work with a great group of reliable trades and contractors and can point you in the right direction based on what your project needs. Whether it’s a painter, builder, or custom millworker, we’ve got you covered.
-
During the consultation, I focus on providing personalized guidance and answering your questions in real time. You are encouraged to take your own notes, as a summary or follow-up document is not typically provided.
